Do you ever feel like you are alone, when you are in the midst of life’s storm? Do you ever wonder where God is, as the bricks of life start to crumble around you? It is natural to get angry or afraid, but you don’t have to let it consume your mind. Sometimes, it is easy to forget all of God’s promises, which he made just for you. So, here is a verse for you to copy and memorize, for whenever you feel abandoned or blue.

Deuteronomy 30: 8, “And the Lord, he it is that do go before thee; he will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” (KJV)

Have faith and believe that he is with you always, no matter where you are. As you recite, imagine a spiritual blanket of peace and comfort for you to rest in. You will begin a transition in a new person that you have always wanted to be. Remember, he chose you to be a soldier in his army, who is able to stand in the face of trials and tribulations. God will lovingly bring to your knees, so you can become stronger and stand in the midst of life’s trials.

Each day he wants to give you more wisdom, which found in the Bible. He will shape your life and mold you in his grace, while chasing the blues away. God doesn’t want you to feel alone or to fear his presence. Instead, he wants us to crave the meat of his word and personal time with him. When you find your comfort in his arms, grow spiritually by allowing you to experience these trials. Your spiritual father knows that you are not perfect and that you will fail, but his mercy is there waiting to catch you.

The next memory verse is Romans 3:23, “For we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (KJV)

Fortunately, he forgives you for your mistakes and he welcomes you back into his comforting embrace.  But, you must be sincere and willing to learn what he has to teach you. When Life is scary or out of control, you must turn to him. Always remember that God won’t give you more than you can bear, since he is with you always. Learn more about his promises to you, by spending time with his word every day.

Remember, God is always in control! So, give him the reins and let him guide your path to spiritual happiness. You will find unconditional love and forgiveness, which is beyond any human understanding or capabilities. By allowing him to mold you into a new person, you become fully protected by God’s spiritual armor. Therefore, as you grow, you will find the spiritual peace and rest that you have always longed for.

Meet a Volunteer: Kakande Muhamad

I am Kakande Muhamad and I am a volunteer, who is running the Reallife Orphanage Home. I am a native thirty-two-year-old, who is currently caring for twenty children. Additionally, I am working with several volunteers to care for these lovely children. Some of these children have lost their parents in the war, some were abandoned, and others lost their parents to illnesses like HIV/AIDS. These children are vulnerable and need sponsors to get the daily food, and medications or school items.

Our Mission at the Orphanage

As volunteers our mission is to provide, love, support, and daily care for the vulnerable children in the slum communities near our orphanage. Our long term goal is to find each child a permanent home and someone to love them. Currently, we need sponsors that can help us keep the orphanage open, as well as help provide these children with their daily needs. We need food that will not perish like beans, maize, rice, and other foods that help nourish these precious children.

How I Began Helping These Special Kids

I was born and grew up in Bwaise neighborhood which is a slum, but during this time I saw many children die for many reasons. I have seen children thrown into water channels or drainage systems, which hurt me deeply, because these poor children died. Unfortunately, I have also seen other children living in old broken down houses and along the streets. These children would sleep wherever they could sleep and I wanted to do something to help the orphans in my own community.

After seriously soul searching, I decided to open an orphanage, which does not turn these vulnerable children and babies away. However, I need to have sponsors to help me keep the orphanage open and caring for these special children. We must pay house rent, as well as get the daily things children need like food and bathing supplies. The children’s sponsors will also help buy clothes, mosquito nets (Malaria Protection), medicine, and educational needs.

Meet Baby Hope

Orphan 1

Baby Hope ©Kakande Muhamad

This little girl is fourteen-months-old and she is known as baby Hope. She is currently living at the Reallife Home Orphanage and no one knows who her parents are. Sadly, baby Hope was found late at night and she was lying curled up next to a toilet in a Kampala, Uganda neighborhood called Bwaise. This run down neighborhood is known for prostitution and sex workers. She was alone and desperately needed help, so the volunteers brought her to the orphanage, but at this time she doesn’t have a name.

Therefore, I have chosen to call her Baby Hope and the volunteers need help with someone to sponsor this beautiful little girl. As a sponsor, you will make sure she eats daily and gets medication when she is sick. Baby Hope deserves to be happy and cared for, even though she has had a rough start to life. She is now in the care of volunteers, who want to help her live a long happy yet full life.

Meet Simon Mugerwa

Orphan 2

Simon Mugerwa ©Kakande Muhamad

This is Simon Mugerwa and he is five-year-old boy, who is one of our special orphaned children. Unfortunately, Simon lost his father in 2014 and his mother could no longer care for this handsome little boy. He is a happy little boy, who has dreams of being a doctor, so he wants to get an education. However, he needs a sponsor that can help him realize his dream, due to the required school fees.

Simon loves to play with his friends at the orphanage, he loves the volunteers, and he enjoys riding his bicycle. Additionally, he loves watching cartoons and he is a very energetic little boy, who is full of love for everyone. Currently, he needs a sponsor that can help us get him into school, as well as helping with his daily needs like food and medication. Therefore take a moment to learn more about Simon and his friend baby Hope.

Contact Information

Any sponsors who may want to help our orphanage or sponsor a child, please feel free to contact me on my Facebook page Reallife Orphanage Home. We have limited internet contact at this time, so bear with us as we hope to grow and make a difference in the lives of these special children. We are hoping to build a website and other ways to help you learn more about our orphanage. The children and I send much love, peace, and light to you all. May God bless you.

Don’t fret over the small things, instead go out and have a day of fun that your loved one will never forget.

Focus on You

Next, look for a hobby or spend the night dancing with someone you love. Spend time doing the things you love, like taking a vacation to the mountains or visit an amusement park. Always find new ways, to help you beat the cancer blues and the fear involved in the cancers. Current research shows that loneliness and sadness lead to a quicker death. So, go have fun, instead of feeling helpless and frustrated with your current situation.

Create Memories

Then, be sure to write a book about your life, as a keepsake for your family and their children. In addition, you could make a scrapbook for each of your children, but first you will need to gather up your favorite pictures. Try to forget your troubles and focus on pleasing yourself instead, since most doctors agree the laughter is the best medicine. Be sure to get your daily dose and pass it on to your loved one and friends.

Get Healthy

Research has show that changing old habits will help you live longer, so quit smoking and adopt a low fat diet. Remember to eat lots of veggie and fruits, in order to build up your body’s immune system. Exercise regularly, in order to maintain your physical strength and health. Start slowly and work your way up to 30 minutes of Cardio exercise a day. Then, you will want to add strength training into your daily routine.

Conclusion

Furthermore, lean on your faith for spiritual comfort, while traveling on this bumpy road. It is necessary to make yourself happy and change your unhealthy habits, so you will begin thriving.
